Quick Fix

Quick Fix for ground systems

Quick Fix is a single mobilisation for a ground-mounted plant: mowing clears the array and its 10-metre buffer, the robot then washes every module, and a closing thermal drone flight checks the result in a dronepv.eu report.

01

Three works, one visit

Mowing, washing and thermographic inspection are usually ordered separately — each with its own mobilisation, access coordination and downtime. Quick Fix bundles them into one scheduled visit where the works follow one another: one crew, one fixed price and one closing document.

02

Step 1 — Mowing starts first and clears the perimeter

We cut the grass between and under the module rows and continue 10 metres beyond the plant perimeter. That buffer keeps vegetation from shading the lower module edges, reduces fire load and rodent pressure on cabling, and gives the drone a clean, obstacle-free flight corridor around the array.

03

Step 2 — Robotic washing follows the mowing crew

As soon as the first rows are clear, the cleaning robot starts working behind the mowing crew. Demineralised water and rotating brushes remove dust, pollen, bird droppings and agricultural deposits without abrasive contact. This keeps the visit short and the plant returns to full output faster.

04

Step 3 — Thermal drone flight closes the visit

The inspection is deliberately flown after washing: a clean, freshly exposed array gives clean thermal data, so anomalies that remain are real electrical defects and not dirt shadows. The drone captures radiometric imagery of every module, string and connection under stable irradiance.

05

Step 4 — Report in dronepv.eu

Findings are classified by severity and published in dronepv.eu, where every defect is pinned to its module, string and inverter. You get the plant condition after the works on one screen and a document you can share with investors, insurers or your O&M team.

06

Step 5 — Audit and repair offer if needed

If the flight reveals defects that need hands-on work, we follow up with an offer for an on-site audit and repair: string measurements, connector and junction-box checks, module replacement or inverter service — prioritised by the severity list, with no obligation to order.

07

What you gain

Higher yield from clean, unshaded modules; lower fire and rodent risk from a maintained perimeter; documented plant condition for insurance and financing; and one invoice instead of three separate service calls.

Good to know

Quick Fix is designed for ground-mounted plants in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. We supply our own water, power and access equipment, work without stopping production where possible, and agree the service window with your operator in advance.

One service, three zones

What Quick Fix covers on site

Mowing starts inside the plant and continues 10 metres around it, then the robot washes the module rows, and the drone flight covers the whole array from the air.

Our own application

dronepv.eu — your plant's condition on a single screen

After every thermal drone inspection the data lands in dronepv.eu, the platform we built ourselves. Every thermographic finding, its exact location in the plant and its effect on output are visible there — no spreadsheets, no waiting for a report.

Visual plant map

Each defect is tied to a specific module, string and inverter, so the affected spot can be found in seconds.

Clear priority order

Findings are classified by severity, so you immediately see what needs action now and what can wait.

History and comparison

Every inspection is stored, so you can compare consecutive inspections and follow the plant condition year over year.

Easy access and sharing

The application runs in the browser — open the data from the office or the field and share it with investors, insurers or your service team.

Thermal drone inspection together with dronepv.eu replaces manual module checks: the flight takes a few hours, and the result is a clear technical assessment of the plant that is understandable even to people who do not work with solar every day.
